and therefore fits into our Green Baby Products category.  This organic active baby carrier provides the parent with excellent weight distribution and comfort due to its lumbar support and generously padded shoulder straps.  Baby can be carried in the front, facing in as an infant or out as an older child.  Recommended for carrying babies 8-26 pounds. 

Why we like it:  Babybjörn didn't become one of the most recognizable names in the baby carrier business for no reason.  This company makes high quality products and the Babybjörn Organic Active Baby Carrier is no exception.  This baby carrier is super easy to put on and adjust completely by yourself thanks to its upfront adjustment straps.  The lumbar support really does help your back in carrying the weight of a baby and of course we love that it's made from organic materials.  As with all Babybjörn front carriers, opening the front and laying a sleeping baby down is a breeze and in our opinion, a necessity! 

Things we wish were different:  Although the Babybjörn Organic Active Baby Carrier can be used for carrying babies up to 26 pounds, we think this is a bit of a stretch, as far as parental comfort is concerned.  Carrying 26 pounds of baby weight on your front, is bound to be difficult no matter what front carrier you're using!
