Stokke is a Norwegian company and the Tripp Trapp high chair has been around since 1972. It is made of European cultivated beech wood with an eco-friendly coating for waterproofing. This makes for easy cleanup. Simply wipe it down and you're done! Available in 12 different colors.

Why we like it: The Stokke Tripp Trapp is one cool high chair. And it truly does grow with your child! Although it does not recline to accommodate infants, the Tripp Trapp can be used for babies that can sit up all the way into adulthood. (Did we mention it can support up to 300 pounds?!) This is one ultra-modern and stylish high chair. No frills, just basic quality craftsmanship here. Of course, the Stokke Tripp Trapp meets all U.S. and international safety standards and is JPMA certified. If you're looking for a unique-looking high chair (no Winnie the Pooh here!) that will be used for years to come, the Tripp Trapp is for you!

Things we wish were different: The price tag… (Although, as one parent noted, this high chair will be used for years upon years, so the cost does equal out!)
